measuring mystery jet sizes
« on: April 27, 2009, 12:30:59 PM »
I've got ahold of a set of push in jets I'm planning to use for my bike, but I'm not able to determine the jet size. the sides are worn enough that no numbers show, and I'm pretty sure that they have been drilled. I'd just like to know so I have a point of reference for the next size (up or down) I might need to get.

If you have a set of jet reamers (cleaners) or a set of precision drill bits, then you could see what's the largest size that would fit.

Good set of drill bits will work.

If you know a shop that has a set of gauge pins, it would be a good way to check.
