Help! Can't look away.
« on: April 26, 2009, 09:16:13 PM »
I have to stop looking at Craigslist.  I don't know how it is in the rest of the country but some nice project bikes are showing up at good prices lately.  For me a lack of space and money limit me to the current two but I have been tempted several times in the last month.  Now if a barn find complete 75 XS650 shows up I may have to sneak it home and shoehorn it into the garage.  I passed on one a few months ago for $400 and have been regretting it ever since.  Not quite this nice but complete.

I know the feeling, I'm on the same CL as you, I can't afford to finish my 550 as is but I keep going on CL and finding bikes that I want lol.

It's not much different here in Nashville. You have no idea how many times I almost went and got another bike while mine was sick. That bike in those pics would draw anyone that like the old school bikes we like. That bike is beautiful. I would probably go look at at least. Even if I had no intention to buy it.

I wish we cost the low cost deals y'all do up there.  I would have more than the one for sure.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

Okay, you find a way to switch our climates without me having to leave Minnesota and you got a deal.

I wish I had year round riding weather.

I haven't even looked on CL since the day I brought home my 550. It's kind of liberating actually. That site will drive you mad, especially if you use that crazedlist website that lets you search any locations you want at once.

I wish I had that problem. Seems like there is nothing around here less than $3000!
I know others have commented on it too. Maybe it's the year round riding weather?
