My 2nd Bike video attempt "Tracy" new longer version
« on: April 26, 2009, 08:32:59 PM »
Took the tracy out and set up my camera on a few different corners.  I tried editing it in "iMovie" on my Mac but lost all sound once it was all put together/  Motivated by watching "Riding Solo to the Top of the World"

Hope this works, unfortuantley you will have to wait for sound before I post the one of the bike in the air off my favorite jump on the Island ;D

Cool! I just uploaded my first one as well. I had my son ride with me and take some footage. I can't say I tried to edit and there is no sound track, but here it is:

No music was needed except for the sound of that engine and going through gears. I love that sound.

Working on the other 5 corners now. I have figured out the editing issues, now if I could just paste it up like  azuredesign just did?
Youtube dosen't like my videos. I'm trying to use Flicker?

I bet azuredesign could tell ya or you can look at the page source code to maybe get a clue.

How come Youtube won't allow you to upload. Are you filming in HD? If so, can you change the format to regular AVI or something comparable that You Tube will allow?

Give Vimeo a try for video sharing - allows full HD uploads and downloading too, so people can download your original uncompressed video.

Should embed fine in the forum too.  Just paste in the URL from the browser - http://vimeo.com/VIDEOID - you can click on the four-arrow expand button on the video toolbar in the playing video to make it full screen.

Not a valid vimeo URL

embedding youtube links:

click the youtube button above the wink and laughing smileys
put the movie call number in between the youtube brackets

[yootube=425,350]put it here![/yootube]

the movie call sign is what follows the v=  in the address bar when you click on your youtube video

if you click to quote me as if you were going to reply... you'll be able to see the code in the post reply box instead of the actual video... notice i enlarged the embed window by changing 425,350 inside the brackets to 500,400

now... lets see some more!

Very nice -that exhaust sounds great. What kind of speeds were you hitting...looks to be around 50 -60mph?

cheers
