MotorCyle arlarms??

whats your thoughts... any idea's on brand or what are you guys using..???

the reason i ask is i was in sac and i had some punk a$$ KID rip my mirror off while trying to steal my bike (it didnt work he couldnt move it the forks were locked :) )

anyways now i have 1 mirror and -1 on my pride :( and i'm seriously considering some kind of LOUD alarm to deterr someone from messing with my bike!

i was sorta thinking of this one.... you dont have to hit buttons you just walk up and its disarmed and walk away and its armed! and it has a 2way pager letting yo know its being messed with!

Hi evo,

I checked the link you provided.  That looks pretty darn good, and the price isn't bad.

Had a Harley friend (yes, I said Harley) who told me about his alarm system....... sounded great until he told me it was $650 smackers.

That made me go back to the massive chain/padlock and rear wheel lock.

But I am interested in this one you have just pointed out.

ya well the one for my harley....

329 for the module.. (includes 2 remotes)

$99 for the siren (yes i said siren it doesnt come with one)

$69 for the pager.. Yes all that money and all it does is turn off and on...

OH and the lamest part alarm siren only goes off for 2min then shuts off :( so... ya it disables the bike but it stops making noise :(

there are k00l modes for the harley alarm.... storage.. mode... transport mode... and it still keeps the self canceling turn signals...

but for the money i could piss in a fish barel and get more out of it.. i later found that i could of adapted (with a harness) one of these K00l alarms with a pager and button less arm and dis arm!

I have a Scorpio on my busa (3 years now)....a good unit.
