CB500t 1975 - CB500t 1976 (do the carbs transfer?)

So I'm doing some research for a friend who's recently gotten himself a 1975 CB500t that needs some new carbs. He's looking at some carbs from a 1976 CB500t on ebay and doesn't know if they'll transfer over.
Can anyone tell me if they do or lead me to the information?
Thanks.

I can't help, but I bet if you get get the specific model numbers for the carbs you could find out a lot faster. It wouldn't take much hunting. I had the same question about my bike.

The 500T was only made '75-'76. My '76 has a manufacture date of 08/75, and stamped 1976 year model. part numbers are the same for the right side, but one digit off on the left, (typo I think), I'll bet you can swap without any problems. Check out this site.

My 500T made me proud today, 130mi loop, lots of twistie's at a good clip, 52mpg, and looked good too.
