Caveman. Further thoughts, I used to work for a tool & die maker in Covina California who supported me, a couple of engineering students, a part time machinist and a wife, himself and 3 kids in a fairly decent life style all in one of those little industrial garages, he was a sharp cookie. A few of the pearls of wisdom was always think what you are doing, never do by hand what a machine can do faster and better, and if it's not safe don't use it, fix it first, it will save time later on. when I worked there I stopped thinking one day and ran my hand through a surface grinder, not badly but enough to require a bunch of stitches on my index finger, he took me to the local hospital got me looked after and sent me home, next day did I get reamed, not about getting hurt, but about not thinking what I was doing ( I pushed towards the work as opposed to pulling away from it ) and I didn't blame him, I still don't, he wouldn't suffer an unsafe condition around any of the machinery, so if he could make a living, a good living, being safety conscious the twit you are working for is some one you don't want to be around, he'll get you hurt.
