OK so I'm riding today and as per usual the bike is cold at start off but usually I go for a nice long blast out into the country and by the time I want to do some town riding she has settled and runs beautifully.
Today I had to go straight into town to pump the tyres up before getting a WOF (certificate) so she didn't get her usual blow out.
I don't think I ever got all cylinders firing for the whole ride, got home and #3 and #4 plugs came out quite carboned, #1 and #2 were a bit darker than normal with a wee bit of soot on them.
Do you think I got this reaction from the bike simply by riding it differently?
I've done nothing extra to the bike since my last ride this week when it seemed a damn shame to shut her down it was running so well.
I was thinking new plugs, can't hurt...any thoughts anyone?
