Anyone know a source for shifter return springs?
« on: April 29, 2009, 02:23:24 PM »
I'm talking about the spring that goes on the shaft of the gearshift spindle and makes the gear shift lever return to the middle position after an upshift or downshift. I have two bikes (K0750 and K2750 engine) whose gearshifters spring back too sluggishly for my tastes and need new ones. Honda, however, no longer stocks them. Anyone know another source? Or know of a bike that uses a spring similar enough to work on a 750?
