Just found the site when searching for info on the electrical system. Looks like a great site. Glad I found.

I purchased my 1974 CB750K4 when I first moved to Cincinnati back in 1990. Bought it from a guy that purchased the 750 and a CB550 for his son. They rode for a few years (9500 miles) and then parked them. Mine sat for quite a few years in his garage before he listed it for sale. He tried starting it prior to the sale and blued two of the pipes. Fortunately, he stopped before doing damage.

Removed & cleaned the carbs, new battery, plugs/points/condenser, oil change, etc., and have been riding it on off ever since.

It's very clean, mostly stock - stock paint (orange), pipes, seat, etc.. Aftermarket sissy bar and a 16" rim laced to the stock hub. Will post pics when I get back my home computer.

Other current rides -
1970 Triumph 650 Tiger. Many miles and good times on this one. Purchased back in 1978 when I went through the AMA cycle school (back when it was on the 3rd corner of the Daytona Speedway). Drove to school from Indiana with a 74 125 Elsinore, 72 CB350 and a 74 CB750 in the back of my little Toyota SR5 pickup. Thought I might need something to ride while I was there. Ended up trading those three while I was there for the Triumph and a Harley.
I took it down last year to re-chrome some pieces and powder coat the frame. Hope to put it back on the road this summer.

Someday projects - 1974 H2 750 Kawasaki, 1957 Sporty.

Also have a 61 pan/shovel. It's been my daily rider for a long time now.

I make it to the Steak & Shake in Milford a couple times a year, enjoy a Sunday ride to Rabbit Hash now and then and occasionally point it in a different direction and just go.

Greetings from Colorado.

Blue or Red?

Ever ridden to Paducah? If not, look on the map. It's half way between Possum Trot and Monkey's Eyebrow.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Greetings to you also.

I have family in Colorado Springs and fly into Eagle & Aspen airports a couple times a year. Beautiful part of the country..

Color is Flake Sunrise Orange..

After a quick Google search, I read there's some kind of joke about "half way between Possum Trot and Monkey's Eyebrow"?? Sounds pretty rural over there. I remember in my early flying days taking a 172 near that area for a crappie fishing trip (and to build flight time). Never knew there was such a thing as a dry county in the U.S. until then.

I'm about 10 minutes from Cincinnati. Been flying corporate jets (G-100 and G-200) out of Lunken airport for the part 20 years.

Small world, huh? Been here for last 10 years and there for 46 years.

Blue or Red didn't refer to your bike  ;D  Just checking to see how much Kentucky you really are  ;)  However, Flake Sunrise Orange is nice.

The crappie fishing used to be the best anywhere in Kentucky Lake. Almost as good on Barkley. Slabs all the time during the run in March. No more, not for a while.

You'd think that the state that distills more whiskey than anyone would not have dry counties. Fact is there are/were only 20 wet counties out of 120 total.
