sohc pin wanted
« on: April 15, 2009, 01:36:27 PM »
Anyone out there got an extra orange(preferred) or red pin that they would be willing to sell me. I am also researching what it would cost to have some made again from a different supplier than we used before. I posted this in the merchandise thread also.

thanks,

ray#?

Hey Mick, What would it take to get one of those pins from you? Anything your interested in from up in Alaska? Maybe some smoked salmon or wild blueberry jelly?

Happily trade these for some nice blueberry jelly!  I bought a few of these all those moons ago and always knew there was a reason I bought extra ;)

they're gonna be collectors items you know!   ;D

i know dusthawk may have a few patches that he might want to get rid of... i'm down in the 20-30 range of what i have left for patches, no pins left... and like myhondas said, i'm looking for a different distributor... any ideas are welcome.

the upfront money is welcome too.   ;)

Alas I must disappoint those here, I only have a single patch and a single pin, both proudly affixed to my Vest. The rest of the Patches I had disappeared when a fiend broke into my Van a couple years ago and stole all of my motorcycle stuff along with all of my software, music and DVD's. My Leather jacket, Harness boots, helmet, and a backpack containing all of my patches and a pair of $200 TiMax Titanium plated Gloves. I had over 100 DVD's, 300 Music CD's, and a couple hundred software titles in CD binders, worth approximately $12,000 all told. Since I didn't have an itemized list for the insurance carrier they wouldn't replace everything and only paid to replace the busted lock on the door.

All that said, I unfortunately will not part with my patch and pin, I hold them both very dear and display them proudly.
