Thanks to all the members who post here. The wealth of knowledge is unbelievable. Now for a little story. I purchased the bike new in March of 72. Went in the military and my Dad rode it for a number of years. The last time it was licensed and ridden was 1981. Mom moved so we cleaned out the garage and there it was under a pile of boxes and such. To make a long story short, I changed the oil, filter, plugs, points, condensers and rebuilt the carbs. Darn thing started on the first try. I still have allot of fine tuning and clean up to do but what a surprise.
