Not sure I see the fail, other than everyone looking like they are from "france".

One of them has Gordon's face photoshopped on.    :)

Edit:  At least I think it's photoshopped on....    :D

lloyd Two Tired clearly took the high road on this one, as it's a road his driven down too many times, but where's his acute analysis when you need it? i mean, everyone here knows the guy came in all guns a blazin', asking for it and all, but lloyd specializes in giving him the answer he asked for.  ;) if i remember right, there was a long thread discussing this exact subect in which lloyd offered lots of electrical data on the subject. that being said, anything can be dome with a lathe, a mill and lots of time...

i do respect questioning whether the earth is flat and all, but there's a tactful way of going about it, and the lack of such tact was clearly this guy's problem this should end or get moved form the tech forum IMO.

How smart are we? Smart enough to look in the FAQ.

Now I know why the SPBT hasn't had much exercise lately.

The OP will undoubtedly discover that though it's easy to believe you are capable of understanding (everything) what you really need to do is listen to sound advice.

Case in point:

That's fantastic.  I laughed out loud.   :D

He hasn't logged on since about 9 pages ago or something like that.

I bet he's trolling like he insinuated this forum's members were acting.

Heh, that makes sense in my head, really it does...

Quit making sense, Paul. There's no room for logic in this thread.

Two phase, three phase, twelve phase, it matters not after it passes through the rectifier.

I know that some bikes use one phase for lights and the others for ignition, no Honda that I've worked on does this.
