Well guys take a lookI know its not a SOHC head butMike knows a thing or two about GS Suzuki's also and he has a SOHC head of mine that's next in line to do his magic on.This head is off of a GS850 and its going on my GS750/840 CaferacerThe nice thing about the 850 head is that the intake ports in stock trim are 33mm comparedto the 750 head which are 29mm.As you will see in the pictures I can now run my 33mm Mikuni flat slides verses the 29mm CRs that I use to runas well as the old 29mm smooth bores from Mikuni.Mikes work is absolutely the best I have seen to date and if this head preforms like we think it willMike said this should be good for around a 12 to 15 Hp gain. But it looks are worth HP then this baby has 1000 in it alreadyJust about to nice to put it on and start it upI dont wont to get the domes dirty..........................(yeah right)So this is what he did.Mike rieck stage 3 portingHeavy springs with Titanium keepers from KibblewhiteCams are a 390 liftside note:we decided to run shim under the bucket's for protection against spitting a shim and reining all the niceport workThe valves where left stock as Mike decided that these where big enough in stock form Bronze guidesThe head was shaved .010 to make sure it was nice and flat. I hope the pictures can atleast give you an idea of the yop shelf work that mike can doI will have dyno comparisons from stock head (about 62 Hp) to this on as soon as I canenjoy the pictures and thanks again Mike
