I'm sure your well versed in the victors history, but try a bit from the southern view point. You might try Jefferson Davis' "The Rise and Fall of the Confederate Government"Or how about, "The Real Lincoln" for a modern work.http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0761526463/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=0761536418&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0J3HN96M4P5H0FZWGW0GIf you want to discuss real history pm me. Rocking-M, many Irishmen, both native and 1st or 2nd generation Americans fought with distinction under the flag and commanded by Col. Randal Mc Gavock in the 10th Tennessee Infantry, makes me kinda proud...!
I can't believe an Englishman is concerned about a little bit of blowing rain.
