Hello everyone,   been lurking around the site for a while,  but never wrote an intro.   I picked up a 78 cb750k about 3000 (less than 2 months haha) miles ago,  been ridin the piss outta it every chance i get.

Not too much going on in the mods dept.  Im guessin mac 4-1 exhaust, i think there supersort handlebars (about 1.5 inch rise) normally they're on upside down for commuting,  so the "backsweep" of the bars points them downward a little bit,  but for long trips i put them back on the normal way.  I cut the front part of the seat foam so theres about .5 inch of padding on top of the pan, but i left the passenger part of the seat stock so it seems to cradle you a bit.  Hella comfy compared to the stock set-up.   Also, i cut down the rear turn signals so they're snug with the mounts (  being 6'3" i tend to knock turn signals off when i throw my leg over the bike) i think it looks good and really seemed to clean it up some.  Other than that i got rid of the HUGE tail light assembly.  I run a smaller universal tail light,  and i  just flush mounted the license plate under the light.

I've always had a soft side for older bikes/cars,  and i cant complain one bit about this bike.  Other than a oil leak from the tach. cable and adjusting the valves a little bit it hasnt given me any problems.   For as hard as i run bikes, I figured this motor would grenade in the first couple weeks,  but this thing is bulletproof.

Hopefully i can return the favor and help some people with advice as i have gotten many tips and tricks from the members of this wonderful website,  I already feel welcome here even though i haven't really posted yet
