Hey all,
So i took the carbs off assuming that they were dirty case they had been sitting ( i dont know that for a fact, just figured casue they were sold to PO in a lot)
anyway, they were not dirty quite clean
, but I ran into a few things, or should i say didnt run into a few things that i thought i would.
the manual I have says that i should unscrew the slow jet and clean. the slow jet has no screw top.
the jet needle only has one stop on it, i know they come like this but thought that i would have seen the 5 stop version.
the main jets are all 130, ( if the stamped # on them is the size?) I didnt think that they came that way stock?
so i am assuming so far that someone has been in these carbs fairly recently, witch is all fine and good, but now I would like to know what the stock main jet size should be and if the other things that i mentioned are stock or changes.
also I plan on buying some pod filters, and would love to know if anyone on the forum has a 78 750F with 4 into 1 and what configuration they are using with the jetting?
I have been reading all of the box v. pod threads, and since this is the firs time i will get the bike up and going, I want to start by setting it up the way I want it. instead of syncing everything to the box just to redo it all when I try the pods.
