Hi,
Yesterday I purchased a 1973 CB350F as a future project.  It will join my 2001 Valk Interstate, 1980 Kawasaki KZ750LTD, 1975 Honda CL175 and the 1966 Honda S90 (currently all in parts) in my garage.
I have been riding for many years and have had many motorcycles mostly Honda's.
If you live near northeastern Minnesota, please join my Vintage Motorcycle Show in Babbitt, MN on June 27th.  E-mail me at goldwing55706@yahoo.com if you're interested.

Welcome, Goldwing55706.  I have relatives in Hackensack.  I'd love to get my bike up there some summer so I can dodge bears, deer, and bald eagles on the back roads.

The winters, though, completely dissuade me from ever living there  :o ;D

What shape is the 350 in?  Got pics?

cheers

mystic_1,
Thanks for the welcome.  Yeah, we have a lot of animals running around!  Just the other day, a guy I graduated was riding and he hit a deer - he's in serious condition in the Duluth hospital.
The CB350F is in good original condition but missing a few parts.  I'm looking for carb floats and carb bowls, a kick starter, and a turn signal switch.
The original paint shined up nicely.
Thanks again,
Jon

Heffay,
Only the 1966 Super 90 is in parts.  The others are rideable.
The City of Babbitt has an annual event called Peter Mitchell Days.  The committee is always looking for new attractions so, I thought why not a Vintage Cycle Show. I was surprised to find out that the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club (VJMC.org) of which I'm a member will pay up to $75 for trophies.
So I'm keeping my eyes open for vintage bike owners in the area and inviting them to show their bikes - all models and makes are welcome whether daily riders, show, custom, projects, etc.
If you go to the VJMC website and look through the calendar for June 27th, you'll see an announcement for the show.
Thanks for asking,
Jon

Welcome Goldwing...

If you are looking to recuit members then maybe check out the SOHC4 map via this thread:
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=37828.0

From there you can view the map and then drill down to the individual members and then PM them via this site.

Just a thought and good luck setting it up!

Dennis

my78K,
Thanks for the welcome.  Being that this is my very first Vintage Cycle Show, I'm not promoting it very heavily.  Maybe next year I'll try harder.
Thanks,
Jon

Well alot of folks on here wouldn't need a lot of convincing  ;)  The sheer possibility of a meet and greet with other members and other vintage bikes would likely get a few of them going.
