Good looking Goose!  Got some plans for it?  I don't see many in my area.  Bell mouths on the carbs?
Should be fun to ride!

Hi!

Riding it this season as it is and modding it like the Davida Guzzi over the winter:

It's very different to the sport bikes I rode until now but I like the size, the riding position, the sound and the "agricultural" feeling of it. It's not the fastest bike in the world but it puts a smile on my face riding it.

best regards

I love that Guzzi in that ad.  Love it dings and all!  A Classic Bike magazine editor had a Guzzi cafe racer with alloy tank and seat from I think The Tankshop.  I like 90 degree twins,  they sound great!

Le Mans had bellmouths as i remembe, with brass guaze that might just stop a large child getting sucked in, Wear tight trousers or it will missfire!!

I had my palm over the bellmouth while in idle and it was not very impressing but then I gave it a blip and WOW thats the kind of sucking I expect from an italien girlfriend!

I've been playing with Guzzis for the last 10 years. I have a '71 Ambassador (my Bagger) that has lots of mods - 1000cc engine, B-10 cam, 36mm pumpers, etc. But the best mod  was the lightweight flywheel/clutch assembly lifted from an 1100 Sport. Its about 8 lbs less than the standard Tonti unit, and allows much faster revving and slick shifting.

I also have a '76 LeMans which is in the que for next rebirth. First Guzzi was a '71 V7 Sport.

Google MG Cycles, Moto Guzzi Classics, Moto International for parts & tech support. Also check out http://www.guzzitech.com/ for tips on flywheel lightening.

Have fun and if you need some help, feel free to ask!
