New '74 CB550 owner in Eastern NC
« on: May 05, 2009, 06:33:53 PM »
Just picked up this '74 CB550 yesterday.  It's my first bike, and so far has been a lot of fun to learn on.  I look forward to learning even more here as the progress project on it continues.  Thanks.

Wow nice paint   ;D  Bike looks like it's in great shape actually.  How does it run?

Oh, and I see you're a member of the "Couches in the Garage" club.   We have several member like that here  ;D

It runs quite well for a 35 year old bike.  ;D

It has a minor leak around the gear shift, which I'll be fixing soon, and the brakes are a little squeaky.  All in all though, I'm very impressed with it.
