Ghetto Stand:
Not having a center makes it tough to do something as simple as a chain lube. I have been trying to think of a stand of some sort. Today I put two 4x4's under each axle and it did the job, fairly stable too!
Might be even better with a channel in it.

uhm I wouldn't put all of my faith in that. Granted it's cool and easy (although not sure how easy it was to get up there!) but I would be leery of how stable it is...or isn't

They would need to be firmly connected to each other for there to be any amount of stability.

Didn't thay do that in the Easy Rider movie when the 'Captain America' chopper had a flat rear tire? They wheeled it into some dude's barn and propped it up with a short, fat chunk of firewood?
the old tricks are the best tricks.

I thought it would be a #$%*, but it was easy. A set with a channel would work even better, I thought of connecting them with a 1/2 pc of plywood.
It is stable enough to lube the chain or take off the rear wheel, try it, I was surprised.
