Hello from Milwaukee, WI
« on: April 02, 2009, 11:33:20 AM »
Hello my name is Dan. I have been wrenching on CB500/CB550's for about 8 years. I absolutely love these bikes. You can beat the crap out of these things and they keep taking it day in and day out. I have owned an 75' CB550E, That I rode the piss out of for 6 years and just not got back into/onto a 75' CB550F (Super Sport) that was far from a "turn key an go" bike. My buddy has piles of these cb's laying around and it took about 5 bikes to make one runner. It took 2 months of 8-10 hour days bringing her to life. Shes all together now but still work in progress. I need to get off this site and roll some chain in this 40 degree Wisconsin spring weather. I will be living on this forum so see you all soon.

Welcome from UW Oshkosh. My cousin is doing his best to resurrect at least one 550 out of two parts bikes.
