I brought a new bike home today for the stable.

I just have to say it in print.  I brought home a 1997 Ducati Monster 900.  It belongs to my lady but she said that she'll let me ride it in the parking lot. :P  I am excited in a "tingly feeling down there" kind of way. :) :) :)

I stopped by the Ducati dealer last Saturday for a sticker on my 76- Honda CB550K.  He had a 07, GT1000 in red that someone had ordered, but, when they came to pick it up , they couldn't um, reach the ground or get their leg over the saddle... Seems he bought it sight unseen, over the phone, then registered it.. He weighs 420 pounds! The buyer not the bike!!!  It only has 7 miles on it!  It is Red , with a Sargent seat and Ducati windscreen.

I was seriously considering selling my 98 Honda AERO 1100 and my 76 -550K and buying it. ( I'd still have my 71-750K1 to wrench on)..

i wont state the price, because it's VERY reasonable and I am still thinking about it.. But, wow! What a bike...

I understand the tingle feeling you have.

Pics are coming soon.  The best thing about the deal was that we went to see the bike and, both of us being mechanics, we picked apart the bike for about an hour and then he dropped his price.  Always take a bag of tools to a potential sale.  Using them will lower the price.
