Guys, I've wanted a Whizzer bike for years. While fooling around the other day, I stumbled onto this kit and decided it was so too cheap to pass up.

Now I've got to find an old, vintage bicycle like this one to restore and mount the engine to. If any of you have one like this and you want to sell or trade for it - I'm in the market.

The entire engine kit - 80cc, 5 horsepower 2 stroke with cables, carbs, coils, controls - everything is $119!

Regards,
Gordon

Get a new bike for that kit :)  Electra makes some neat looking cruisers etc.  That engine coupled with an internal 3 speed hub could be interesting ;)

I could buy 2 of those kits and put one in each pannier bag, Vbelt drive them to the back axle as a get me home lifeboat. :D
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Tintin is right - Bikeberry.com.

If you'll look, you'll actually find there is a lot of praise for the engine's performance and reliability. My kit should be here Tuesday or Wednesday. My plans are to make this look factory and not a bolt-on. I'll keep it simple, but I want to replace the cheap brackets and clamps with some that look made for the bike I mount it to.

I'd like to see you all get one and share the projects, tips, and results. Heck, it's $119 + shipping. If it goes well, I may buy another for the wife and a kit or two for spare engines - all of this is a lot cheaper than a single moped or scooter.

isnt that Pee Wee's bike? The one that got stolen in that movie.

i want to do this with my current MTB. Its got full suspension.

I wouldnt mind having a bike that looked like a cucciolo or a whizzer though.
