Topic: google ads slowing forum loading down

 I noticed that lately loading any page  on this forum get's pretty slow at times and on my left lower corner of the screen it shows me that it's trying to load google ads... sometimes it even freezes firefox till it's done loading the ads.....the forum itself seems pretty fast....

anything I can do to improve that,besides throwing a bomb on the google head office..

It's kind of a catch-22 there marti.  The google ads provide revenue for the site to keep it running, so we don't really want them to go away completely.  I've never had any trouble with the site though.  I hear that being drunk can affect your perception of time, so maybe if you lay off el capitan morgan, you'll notice a change in load times
