It needs a brace on the rear of that exhaust...  Hanging kinda low, ain't it?  ;)

I don't think it needs anything. It's a good, classic, not-quite-original UJM. Only thing I'd suggest is some kind of clip to hold the exhaust on near the header to muffler junction. Maybe theres one there, but I can't see it.
No.

I would do something with the seat, too...  Seems kinda, bland.  Maybe add some chrome trim to the bottom edge?

I think you should have your avatar chick sit on it for the next round of pics and we'll see if that dresses it up!

I kind of like the way it looks right now.  Low-key and clean.  I agree with adding some trim to the seat, though.  And how about some side cover emblems?

Thinner trimmer seat - its too bulky, and some bling on the seat/sidecovers/tank - all a little bland.

One small detail - I think the headlight ears would look better if they were inverted.

The black front signal lights make me want to make the headlight ears, fenders, fork lowers etc. all black.

Good call on the ears.  And maybe some black Napoleon bar end mirrors instead of the stalks?

The seat is missing the grab rail.  And the turn signals are missing.  But I'm sure you already knew that.  But that's why is looks like something is missing.  Because it is.

Ditch the seat.  Try a stock seat or a cafe.  Whatever you do, the ass end looks way too fat with that after market tush cushion.  Bar end mirrors would trim up the eyebrow antenna look in the front.  Definitely put something/i] on your side covers.  That space is way too big to have just a black space there and a small emblem or badge would define the shape of the covers.  Buck up that exhaust a bit and there ya go.  Think about your rear fender, too.  Maybe loose the stock light and shorten the fender up by shoving it forward and throwing a bolt in it.  If you are going to keep your fender as it is, try putting the rear grab bar back on.  It'll break up that line between the frame and seat a bit and the us sweep will shorten the tail appearance.  That is all.  I think have a grab rail if you want.  Pm me and I'll check.

as far as the seat is concerned...could I just shave the hump down and put the cover back on?
If you can get the upholstery to behave.

It needs to be ridden more and looked at less.
But really, you have just been looking at it to long and it has become boring to you.
Keep looking on ebay and at other bikes and something will come to you.
That will be 2 cents please!

Just looks like it needs a rider. Now enjoy your friday and go ride. What you really want will come to ya, in about 200 miles or so. And dont listen to anything cafe related, thats what you do when youve flat run out of ideas.  8)

My first impression was that something needed to be done with the seat.  I think once the handlebars are lowered, lowering someting in the back is needed to balance things out.

That mudflap on the front fender looks grandma-ish to me.  I'd lose it, or make a sissy bar out of it.

Otherwise, I agree that it needs more riding.

ok, I don't feel like reading so I'll just tell ya what I think.

you need one bar end mirror, (stock mirrors are like bug antennae, get the seat reupholstered with a nice cafe hump, and that's about it, the bike looks nice man
everything I say is pure speculation and
I have no idea what I'm talking about  ._.
