Hello from British Columbia
« on: May 14, 2009, 09:43:53 AM »
New guy here. I have a 1976 CB750k project that I took over from the in-laws. It sat outside for 15 years or so. I have taken the carbs apart and cleaned and re-assembled them. The bike has been running but the spark was very poor. I am thinking about going to electronic ignition.
Last night I worked on the front brake caliper that is frozen. I got the stationary pad out but the piston and pad on the main side is frozen solid. I have it soaking.

So far I have picked up a new seat and a side cover off Ebay.

Looking forward to being around for tips and fun.

Where in B.C.?

2 of us on the forum are in Kelowna. Are you in south central BC? ..(I spotted the apple bin!)

If you are nearby, I have a caliperpopperaparter, but it cost a beer to see it work... ;D
