Jetting Q
« on: August 14, 2009, 02:55:52 PM »
Hi,

I'm running 105 mains and 38 pilots in my CB750F ('76). The bike has the stock air filter and stock 4 into 1 exhaust.

I did a plug chop yesterday at WOT and they came out white indicating a lean condition at that throttle position.

My question is: how far should I step up the main jets on the first go?

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Do you think that if I find a leak in the airbox, I should do another chop? Cuz that airbox has issues. For one, I can't get it apart. What's the best way to check? Spray some kind of fluid around the seams and see if it bubbles?

absolutely, any airbox leaks are going to cause a lean condition.
