Replaced my original '73 front tire.

Put a new Bridgestone on.  Just wondering if the original is worth hanging on to.  It's actually in pretty good shape.  Is it worth anything?  Just curious.

It would be hard to imagine a 37+ year old tire being good for anything other than a conversation piece.  Maybe make a mirror out of it to hang behind ur bar?
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Ha ha, good idea!  Just wanted to make sure I wasn't throwing away something that might make the bike wortth a few bucks more if I decide to sell it down the road.  Thought it mighty add to the  "collectable" factor.

I would hang on to it ( you never know) and i would bet a full vintage builder wanting the full vintage effect would pay for that tire on ebay.

Hmmm, that's what I was wondering.  Should swing by the shop and pick it up I guess.

37+? Wait, wait, wait. With that logic that would make me 37+ years old instead of 35. I don't appreciate that at all  ;D
