Front fork rebuild tips?

Looking to rebuild the front forks on my bike. Have it close to finishing and realized how spongy the front is. My guess is now fluid.
Never been into a fork before. Can anyone tell me a good place to find instructions on how to do it or maybe walk me through it?
Aside from new seals and fluid anything I should expect to need?

I just did mine, a couple hour job. Replace your seals, they're about 10$.

I'd watch out for stripping the 6mm allen head bolts at the bottom of the fork tubes, mine were crazy tight and rounded a little. Also, find something like a block of wood to keep the cap from rocketing into your face when you remove it - there is a spring under there.

Fork oil, 10 wt, is available at most cycle shops. You can use ATF if you can't find it.

I am going to be doing the same process for mine as well. Going with a -1" fork tube and progressive springs. My shocks bottomed out and dented my front fender.  >:(

It would help a lot guys if you would post the year and bike you are talking about.  Below is a pic of the guts of my KO, but not sure if you will see exactly the same thing.  Depending on what you are doing to the bike you could consider polishing the lowers if you want...
