looking for someone who knows 550s inside+out in new jersey area, picked up a 1977 550f last year, she was sitting for 25 years, did everything,cleaned tank carbs new dyna ignition + coils, she starts right up + runs good up to 4500rpm, from 4500 to 5200 she not running right, 5200 to 8000 she pulls good but I feel that 8000 is too low for this bike. also I never have to choke her and let her warm up she just takes off ? with new plugs she runs better but they don't last to long, I adjusted the carbs up+down so many times I my screw driver ran away from home. (just kidding) I took the carbs off checked + cleaned them three times , have stock jets in carbs and all looks good to me . but I'm missing something and don't know where to go next.
