Wire harness pictures
« on: May 13, 2009, 08:36:08 AM »
I'm in the assembly stage of my 750K1 and was hoping someone out there has some pictures of how the wire harness is supposed to look mounted on the frame. I don't really need to see the connections ( although they would be welcome ) but more how the harness is run through the frame, where it's strapped, type straps etc. This bike came to me as a basket case so I never had an opportunity to see how the harness was mounted. Any help is appreciated. Thanks-Pete

I'll sign up for this as well,  I'm in the same boat.
I was just going to route everything so that it is tucked away and doesn't rub on the tank.

I thought they had pics in the manuals, or a routing diagram. Be good to know where the plastic covered tabs go, be a nice thing to have in hondamans book

I just tucked mine wherever it seemed to fit OK and used plastic ties to secure it.

Really?? No one out there has pictures of the amazing job they did laying in their wire harness?! I know I could just tuck it in but I'm sure Honda had it figured out real nice and neat.

I don't know how applicable it is to your model, but the Honda shop manual does show the harness routing and tie ups for the Cb750F model, pg 243/244.

Of course, that's the way Honda did it.  And, it seems to be generally accepted here that Honda had simply awful engineers, who did everything wrong.

Gee two tired, I think somebody needs a hug. I still respect the honda guys and I think this person wants to reassemble exactly how honda did it. :o
