It runs!!! Well for a little while..........

1972 CB750.  Tore it down to the frame and motor, and put it back together clean and painted.  Rebuilt the carbs, brakes, shocks (didnt ruin them after all), fixed the tank, made a new seat, and replaced a bunch of other things, put a lot of long nights figuring things out.  I turned it over for the first time in 3 months and it started up within seconds.  Purred like a kitten, I was so excitied! Tore around the block and the damn thing is fast!  When I got it back in the driveway I shut her down and I could hear what sounded like a little buzzer going off, hit the starter and it fired back up immediately.  While sitting at idle the main fuse blew.  I put another one in and the same thing happened.  I fired it up again today and once again she started right up, idled for a bit, then when I reved it up a little the fuse blew again!  Any help in the right direction would be wonderfull.  The buzzing noise sounded like an old alarm clock only a miniature version.  I tried to find the source but my fuse would blow before I could get my head down.  I am doing everything myself and proud that I achieved movement on my own, I thought the electrical was good to go, obviously not.

Also, after tearing around for a bit, I came to a stop to adjust my clutch cable and noticed my front shocks were compressed about an inch or two while just sitting there.  I was not leaning my wieght on them, it was from the ride, they come back up and still dampen, they were just lower, is this normal? I appreciate any insight with these question, thanks for your time.
