750 frame dimensions
« on: May 20, 2009, 07:09:00 AM »
Hi all, I just aquired a very early CB750 workshop manual and there are 2 very interesting pages,

(1) has the overall dimensions of the complete bike

(2) has the bare frame dimensions for repairers

This is the first 750 with the 4 into 1 throttle cables and "duck tail" seat.

If anybody wants scans or if a moderator wants to upload them please PM me with direct email address and i will scan and send out.

Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I'd be interested in both.  There are some dimension diagrams of the bare frame in various places but I don't think I've ever seen your #1 before.

PM sent

Does it have dimensions of the motor mounts?
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Some of the early Clymer manuals have the frame drawing, I suspect it is the same one though.
Look for early Clymer without the hopup and F stuff

Yup, that's the one I have.  Old Clymer from like 1972.
