Where can I find new vintage style helmets?
« on: May 19, 2009, 09:56:23 PM »
I am looking for the "pudding bucket" (I think that is waht they are called ??!!) style helmets. The half ones with the leather sides. I cannot find them anywhere. On fleabay there are the ones that come from singapore, or taiwan but I have read those are garbage. Anyone know of a source? I want one and some aviator goggles to go with my Cafe style bike!!!!

They've got something for everyone (though I don't believe they're DOT standard)

Course the "garbage" from the Far East will probably protect your head just as well (if not better) than the made-in-Italy Davida helmets, and for $200 less.

Yeah, but they don't have quite have the panache of a Davida- they are cool looking.
But way expensivo.
