First, will piston rings from K0-K5 fit a k8 cb750?

Second, where's the best place to find .25mm oversized pistons for a cb750K8?
1983 Kawasaki GPZ 750
1978 Honda CB750K w/ 1976 CB750F1 motor
1979 Suzuki GS550L

Second ..........try HONDA.  The difference in the pistons from the K0-K6 models is a very small amount of added compression.  If you can't find oversized for the K8 the 1st-3rd over sets for the ealier models should work.

  If the Honda part numbers for the rings are all the same, they will be interchangeable. You can check that in the fiche at Crotchrocket.com
  The Honda dealer would be a good place to start for the pistons.

No the early rings will not fit- the later rings are thinner.
The very early K rings had one piece oil rings which were changed to 3 piece oil rings
The compression on the K0-K6 is the same. The F/F1 compression was increased slightly and this engine was then used with the K7/K8.
The thinner rings were introduced during the 75F and then Honda used the same thickness rings for the F1/F2/K7/K8. Unfortunately they made a number of changes, mainly suppliers and there are several part numbers for the later rings
