Topic: I did it, I drilled the baffles!

I went ahead and drileed the baffle plate after seeking advice from the manufacturer.
I drilled 6 x 9mm holes in the end baffle plate on mine, 1 in the middle and 5 around the middle one. It sounds nice, it has a bit of a raspy sound and pops a little, but I think it sounds good. I have not ridden it yet as its peeing down, but the engine seems to rev freely and does not sputter at all.

Hi Steve,
Yes, when I rang and discussed it with them, they said they get a lot of calls about this and their advice was that it was OK to do it. As you know, if I rang them again and spoke to different people the response might be different! I am happy with the new noise, I can notice it, but I would be surprised if you did.

Jim...the next step is to scare some small children...and maybe buy a hand gun. 

...I wonder if that small poke will re-open any old wounds?

I often scare small kids even when I am not on the bike! I would buy a hand gun, but they won't let us have them here, anyway I prefer a Franchi Spas 12 gauge, you don't have to be such a good shot. 
What are these 'old wounds'?  is this to do with Charlton Hairpiece? I was not on the forum when this happened!
