1992 fzr 600 timing chain
« on: May 18, 2009, 10:16:51 PM »
My riding buddy has a 92 yamaha fzr 600 that sounds like there are robots fighting in the top end. It has done this since he bought it 4 years ago. I am wondering how you go about adjusting the timing chain on this bike. Im pretty sure we might look a little funny if I have to give him a lift home on my bike when it finally breaks.  ::) ;D

as far as I know they have a hydraulic cam chain adjuster.....you might have to investigate a little closer to see whats up with the noise...like with a stethoscope...
Marti, I want you to know, I like you an awful lot, but guys have said far less and left wearing their drinks on their shirts.
