Monkeys indeed  :D
I ride a '95 Yamaha Seca II. Fun machine. Had a '80 CX500C before Seca, bulletproof (after I fixed the leaky water pump seal, of course). As far as the CB goes, it's being worked on right now. Going to re-paint the frame, try to save the exhaust, checking valves, pistons, gaskets, seals etc ... Here are some pics :

Right now, it looks like this :

Hopefully, it will turn into a nice little cafe racer by the end of the winter  ;D

nice!
i'm tearing my 750 down as well and will keep it stripped down - not sure how far i'm going to go - right now the engine is tuned up pretty well, i bought it from a mechanic, so i'm a littl wary of taking it down to the frame as i might make things worse for myself in the long run!

don't think i'll go strict cafe, but i am going experiment, drag bars, clubmans, super sport tank, definitely a new seat and maybe mock up a cafe seat to see how that looks.

will you be cutting off rear pegs, doing setback controls, etc? i'm looking into these things...i know a little welding and have a friend with shop space, so, we'll see...

j'lo...

Hi Mick, dusterdude, thanks for the welcomes  ;D

Tuned up engine is always good, pleasing to the ear as well as the eye. Mine wasn't, just one of the excuses to take a wrench to it  :D .  j'lo, whatever you decide to do with your 750, keep us updated. Im looking into rearsets, different taillight, allready have clubmans on hand, maybe braided brake lines, bar end mirrors etc, etc. Lots of work to keep me busy.

Regards,
D.
