Quick carb questions

Do the screws on the carb choke linkages have to be adjusted a special way, or only screwed in so they will engage when the choke is closed? If I screw these in they seem to adjust open a little more if the clutch were closed. Do these screws affect anything noticable?

Can you buy the dust seals anywhere? Mine are ok, but I worry if I have to take this apart again that one will tear.

Thanks

These linkages adjust the choke on each carb. When fully closed, these screws adjust that all of them are in the same position. Likewise, when fully open. Don't forget to tighten the locknut!

Don't know about the dust seals, woulfd like to have some myself.

The linkages adjust the plates like Accolay says. They have to be adjusted in sequence. the first one (carb 2) also adjusts 3 and 4. I set them so the plates are flat horizontal when the choke is open, for minimum airflow obstruction once off choke. This puts them a bit weird at full closed, ie one or more will be open a crack... but that hasn't been an issue with cold starting in my experience.
