Bimota SOHC 750 ?
« on: May 24, 2009, 12:24:27 AM »
Anyone know anything about the Bimota CB 750's or the frame kits? I was watching Twist The Throttle the other day and it was Bimota this week. I guess the founder of Bimota had a CB 750 and he  raced it crashed it. Didn't like the way the frame has to he made his own in 1973 and that is how Bimota started. I guess they made only 10 SOHC 750's and then they also made frame kits? From what I saw it looked like the engine/ frame was a stressed member meaning the engine hanged from the frame. There was no downtubes underneath the engine. It also looked like in the kits the frame was a two pieace and the motor was part of the frame? Anyone know anything about these frame kits or  the CB 750 Bimotas or have any info about them?
