Ok, I am a newbie with the vintage Honda SOHC's, ???? on parts.

After I got this cb 750 and did all the general tune up, tires and chain, well after putting some time on it I notice an oil leak out of the tach cable where it goes in the valve cover. I am sure there wil be some other things that will urface after it been sitting so long.

I have been looking at the where to buy parts in the faqs but have a  question. Will I be able to order through one of them. Any best reomedation from one to another on getting this seal?  Can the local steeler get one??

What stinks I seen one go on e-bay before I notice my leak last night after yesterdays ride.

These seals are available from dealers. They're only $2-$4. You might want to order one for a DOHC. They have a little tighter fit. Also, an application of something like Hondabond on the seal helps prevent leaking.

Hey Mike L.
the gastank petcock has a small rubber 4-hole washer. $5.oo at local Honda shop. They tend to dry out
good luck,
