CB350F from Australia
« on: May 24, 2009, 07:52:45 PM »
G,day My name is Colin but I get called Brownie, I am from Hastings in  Victoria Here in in OZ,I just took Possesion of a ...1972 CB3504..,had to make a 6 hour round trip to pick up the bike, which has been sitting in a shed for 15 years until about a year ago when a bloke bought it for $250, But couldn't get it to run so he parked it out in his back yard where its been rusting and slowly decomposing.he decided if I can do something with it I can have it, free of Charge,
Ultimately it will be a cafe racer.
1st thing is to get it to run,, and Ill go from there, so I would love to here form other folks who  have done caferacer/rebuilds on the 350/four. Am I going to have a hard time finding parts? I think here in OZ these things are like Hens teeth, I haven't seen another one anywhere, I'm sure theres some out there, but they must all be hidden in the darkest parts of the dankest way out of the way outback farm shed here in OZ.

so I look forward to hearing from other Members even just to say G,day.

             Cheers Brownie

Welcome, Browne. You have come to the right place.
Some parts are difficult to find or imposable, but since you want to cafe it it should be easier. If you can't find the parts on Ebay or from Honda, maybe a member on here has what you need, just ask.
Good luck,
Keith

G'day Brownie, welcome to our dysfunctional little family. I haven't seen a 350 on the road for probably nearly thirty years in Australia, i have a couple of 750's and source a lot of stuff from overseas. Start a thread in the "projects" section and you will get loads of help.
