There wasn't really much in it, but enough to to be pulled up from the crankcase and coat the top of the piston. Still a mystery about what it is and why it's there.
The Suzuki T350 was an interesting find, not because it remarkable in any peticular way, but because of it's rarity. I've seen Suzuki's T250's and T500's for sale now and then. I've never ever seen a T350 for sale. When I got it. I searched every city in the US on CL to see if there were any others. I found one in the entire US in California.
Two years ago I rode a friends restored T500. The vibration coming up from the handlebars was just about unbearable.I expect the T350 to be about the same. Parts for the T250 and T500 are around, but very little to choose from for the T350. Fortunately many parts are the same.
This T350 isn't actually running and ridable. I had just done some basic work and wanted to see if it would bark. So I've replaced the point system, bought a new coil, worked the carbs just enough such that it should run, removed the Alfredo Sauce and I heard it bark for about 15 seconds, then shut it down. I guess I'll get serious with it now.
