Good day everyone, my name is Brian and I am a brand new owner to a 1978 CB550k.  I recently sold my 02 CBR F4i and am taking a stab at an attempt to rebuild the old boy I picked up for $100.  The thing is everything was there, the engine wasn't seized, and the guy lived two streets down.  So here I am new to the forum but not to the bike world.  I will be looking for some advise and what not and plan on spending some time here.

I often ride my dirt bike just off of Horseshoe Vally road.  Nice area you are from,, you just get way to much snow. You should be able to find everything you need to know through this forum. Good luck with your build & post lots of photo's as you go.

Thank you very much.  I am excited about getting this done throghout the winter. So far I have torn the sucker down.  almost got the engine apart.  These damn old screws are driving me nuts.  There is always one that doesn't want to come off.
