They advertise .360 lift on both sides. With zero lash I get .330. I can understand -.005 to -.007 but on a new cam with 0 lash it's short .030?

?? Total BS.

Duration is off too with lack of lift.....that thing isn't much better than stock IMO.

i had a feeling you would find that to be the case....you said they don't give you the card, is the cam even engraved with the grind on it....

i gotta tell ya, after being .015 too short, this is far from surprising

Are you measuring cam lift or valve lift? I forget what the Honda rocker ratio is.

Valve lift off the retainer......I was timing the cam

Mike you probably have the thing buttoned up, but I wonder if you take the lift measurement at the lobe, if it could match what Web claims it to be. (maybe what Jay was getting at) I was given this reasoning before when questioning their magic fiqures. Maybe that is how they generate the data don't know. Easy enough to check in a 750 if you had the "play-around time"!

I can still do that Brent but lift at the valve is what is important IMO. The Megacycle cams I've put in (CB750's) pretty much match the actual valve lift. Web Cams I've used with shim/bucket desgins pretty much match the timing card lift too.

It'll probably be even less. In cars (don't know what Hondas are) the ratio is ~1-1.5 which means lift measure at the cam lobe is about a third of what you'd measure at the valve.

Agreed MJL, the rocker arm ratio should work to increase the lift at least. And what Mike says is true, determining clearances have to be done at the valve.

I'm just trying to find a way to throw support in WebCam's direction. I know the quality of the product is good, just give proper fiqures in the first damn place.

In case it looks like I'm challenging Mike's fiqures that's not the case

I have both Web and Megacycle cams, the MC numbers were nearly spot-on, Web numbers were frustrating.

As I said the Web is a very nice product though.

If nothing else the lack of a timing card is bogus and unfathomable. Why not put a card in the box saying.....lift...yeah...it has some. Duration.....yep...duration is good....it should have some of that too.

Just wondering, has anyone got the actual timing figures, as I have a 41a here and the card has timing figures blank, and I am finding differing figures, I have a card from a 341a which is different to the figures listed on webcams website, and cycle x cx2 is supposed to be the same, so wondering what i should use
