Where to find jets and float bowl gaskets 350f
« on: May 28, 2009, 08:05:41 AM »
I need to upjet my carbs because the 350 is running poorly.  I know when I take off the float bowls the gaskets will be too swollen to fit back in.  So I need a good source for jets and gaskets.  I do not need an entire rebuild kit, which seems to be all I can find.

have you done a full tune up, carb sync, and a plug chop to determine going to a #78 or #80 really needs to be done?

if your gasket material is in good shape, cut it to fit and superglue it.  No problems wth mine after 6months.
or, local home stores typically have gasket material that wil lwithstand gas, in 1/16th OD that can be cut to fit.

Honda has the bowl gaskets. Or at least last time I bought some.

Pro Motion and the aftermarket carry them too....

I generally agree with twotired and hondaman in that all the parts do not need to be replaced as most don't wear that much.

Theres been some problems reported specifically with the Keyster 350F kits ....with regard to the needles being screwy in the mid range....

I haven't seen it as I've never had a 350F keyster kit.....when I can I like to go back with the Kiehin Parts.

Seems to me that the OEM carb parts make them run best.

there's like 3 parts in there aside from the two he needs... just to make that clear.
i'd buy the kits just to have the extra float needles.
how much do you save buying the individual parts vs. the 15-20 i usually pay for each kit?
