I'm new to this forum and have a simple question.
What is the factory setting for the needle jet clips for the 1976 F1?

welcome to our insanity.....
um,not sure,depending on altitude somewhere on the middle clip position.....but you will have to set it to what your bike likes,not what the factory sets it at...
why do you ask..?? what is the bike doing that makes you want to set it..
If you give some more detail on the bike,like did you just get it,how long has it been standing still,how is it acting up etc. then you will get a ton on info and advise here on how to solve it.....
oh,and pictures...

I have recently rebuilt the top end of my F1 and when I dismantled the carbs, prior to installing new kits, I found that the clips were on the bottom groove (richest). This didn't seem quite right to me. I don't know the history of the bike and it had been laid up for 9 year before I bought it 2 years ago. I repositioned the clips to the middle setting. It's now ready for the road and I should soon be able to do some plug chops to check. This is my first SOHC 750 and it is unmodified (came fitted with almost new genuine Honda F1 exhaust system).

My F1 came with the needle clips in the middle position from the factory.
Mine was purchased new by my brother, in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1978.
