I'm still not down to the 275 I was when I was riding Rita, lolol. Some of you might remember me from back then at the West Coast Meet and Greet with Glenn.Still pretty big but not what I got up to.
My eventual goal is to be down to around 250 within a year and with my current eating habits, that shouldn't be too much of a problem, and my Aunt is helping me as well. She bought me a great vegetarian cookbook with some great healthy stuff I can whip up.
I still want to make Rita into an 836 monster. I will have a great King Queen seat and sissy bar on her and be able to load up a T-bag luggage and take a trip cross country to visit a bunch of you guys. With all that weight I think the extra horses in the mill will really help going over and through all the mountains. I have a new set of tanks that hold 5 gallons so I won't be stopping near as often for gas I would have with that little peanut she used to have. It was a 2.1 gallon tank and I got around 80 miles before I had to fill up or walk, lolol.
I expect that I should have my settlement from the Workman's Comp insurance carrier by the end of the year, and my attorney is confident we will get a good settlement, might even reach 6 figures due to the negligence and refusal of required medical care requested.
Even better news today that I think will really help me out though. I will be seeing a counselor starting next week to help me deal with my depression and frustrations in dealing with AIG Insurance. Several months of counseling should help me get my mind back where it should be, but resolving all the insurance crap will be the biggest boon for me, resolving all my medical troubles. I will finally have a Judge telling AIG to pay for the stuff I need done and quit screwing around.
More later,
Peace and Long Rides,
Jeff
