Lost ball bearings
« on: May 28, 2009, 04:35:20 PM »
The PO lost 5 of the neck ball bearings. Anybody have some that will fit an 80 Cb650?I know, I should switch to the new style but cash is tight now.

OK, here's a cut up screenshot from servicehonda, #20 is the part you need, they're 1/4" ball bearings, go to any hardware store and get some cheaply.

I'm curious, what type of store would carry these ball bearing? Home Depot?

I'm missing some for my Suzuki project.

Thanks!

I don't know what size you'd have in a suzuki (what model?) but you can usually find them in any hardware store that has a decent selection of nuts and bolts, etc.

Well that's a drag. Try some of these, maybe call around and ask first before you hit the road.

I think I might have some in the shed from my 550 teardown. Let me check I'll get back to you this weekend.

I have a 750 frame hanging in the garage that has the ball bearings just hanging there waiting to fall out of the grease...

PM me your address and I'll put some in the mail.
