750F modified airbox question
« on: June 01, 2009, 01:08:57 PM »
Hi all.

The PO of the 77 750F I'm working on removed most of the plastic on the lower half of the airbox by cutting out some rectangular holes.

I just got the bike drivable and took it out.....and it doesn't like it past half throtlle, but the extra noise from the carbs is making it hard to tell just how much it's missing....plus I'm use to the 350F which is a smidge slower  :D

I suspect the modified airbox is making it lean. It's got stock jetting...everything else checks out.

I'm thinking I should just get another airbox lower but can anyone tell me what kind of jetting changes are nessesary for a moded airbox? ....or know where I can get an un-modified airbox lower?

 Matt.
